    • Perform risk analysis on existing and new products and vendors to identify, assess, and mitigate potential threats to business operations and compliance

    • Monitor and respond to any events in SentinelOne (EDR)

  • Manager, IT - Anishinabek Police Service
    • Managed the team that provided IT for a multi-site police service deployed across Ontario
    • Responsible for design and deployment of infrastructure, security, applications and overall health
    • Designed and implemented all aspects of a VPN-based WAN leveraging Citrix XenApp at its core to deliver services using limited bandwidth resources
    • Designed data centre based on HP blade technology and virtualized with VMware vSphere
    • Designed, implemented and managed a centralized access control system utilizing Kantech solutions
    • Implemented and managed a centralized camera security system based on Axis and Milestone solutions
    • Sat on the technology committee of the Ontario Police Technology Information Co-operative (OPTIC)
    • Liaised with our Police partners to ensure a uniform security policy and was responsible for implementing that policy in my agency
    • Oversaw the transition of our old Lotus Domino based records management system to a more modern SQL based solution
    • Transitioned the organizations MDM solution from BlackBerry BES to Airwatch
    • Instrumented infrastructure and application metrics using Zabbix

    • Director of organization with locations in Sault, Timmins and Michigan
    • Responsible for overseeing technical and service operations of the business
    • Managed our relationship with Ingram Micro’s Venture Tech Network
    • Acted as principal Systems Engineer for some of our larger domestic and international clients
    • Served as escalation point for my junior technical staff
    • Designed and implemented a wide range of network solutions for clients including small single office as well as large multi-location
    • Worked with a large variety of vertical market software often requiring signficant customizations
    • Acquired several certifications to meet the needs of our sales requirements including Microsoft MCP, Cisco CDA, Netware CNE, Citrix Administrator and CompTIA
    • Deployed and operated a number of server OS's including Windows Server, and Linux-, Novell Netware
    • Implemented one of the first Cisco VoiP solutions in North America

  • Owner - Partners Datacom
    • Began Partners Datacom as one of four partners
    • Primarily responsible for maintaining Canadian operations
    • Acquired needed sales and service authorizations for the company and established vendor relationships
    • Responsible for all technical aspects of both Canadian and US divisions including pre and post sales engineering and support
    • Performed network update and restructuring for several clients including government and educational sectors
    • Ultimately transistioned back to Algoma Business Computers as a partner
    2001 - 2002
  • Technician/Systems Engineer - Algoma Business Computers
    • Responsible for all levels of customer support for our small business and home users
    • Provided break/fix and troubleshooting for hardware and software including printers, PCs and servers
    • Championed setting up printer repair department and acquired HP and Lenovo authorizations for the business
    • Worked with cable and phone technicians and learned how to punch down a voice and data field and troubleshoot with a toner and butt set
    • Transitioned to a role with greater accountability to provide solutions for our smaller business clients including network and server setup using Novell Netware and Windows Server products
    • Implemented solutions for a number of verticals including, dentist and doctors offices, law and engineering firms, manufacturing, etc
